Six Years of Progress: Explore GCR’s Impact Report

It’s been six years since the formation of the Global Coalition for Radiotherapy (GCR) and we are proud to look back on the progress we have made within that time. As we celebrate our milestones, we must mention the accomplishment of GCR supporting the launch of the World Radiotherapy Awareness Day (WRAD) initiative as the governing body in its inaugural year. We are excited to watch the future of this important awareness day unfold.Â
In addition to WRAD, the GCR has successfully launched the GCR Conflict and Crisis Radiotherapy Task Force, GCR Resident Partners, the Radiotherapy Essential Standards, and published the Radiotherapy Advocacy Toolkit. We have also contributed to important publications, added key strategic partnerships, and highlighted the importance of radiotherapy at major events and conferences.
