Rachel Glicksman joins GCR Radiotherapy Essential Standards as Co-Chair of next phase

As we enter the next phase of the GCR Radiotherapy Essential Standards, we are pleased to welcome Dr Rachel Glicksman as Co-Chair of the project. Dr Glicksman is a Radiation Oncologist at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto, in Canada.

During this stage of the project, participants have been invited to review a new policy document which outlines the rationale and approach for presenting Radiotherapy Essential Standards within an existing radiotherapy program, as well as planning and building a new radiotherapy program.  

This review process will utilize the Nominal Group Technique (NGT) across two sessions in Q1 2026, led by Dr Gospodarowicz and Dr Glicksman.

We are grateful to all those who have already contributed to the Radiotherapy Essential Standards, for their great work, and we look forward to this next phase of the project.
