Professor Pat Price, Chair of the board GCR, Radiotherapy UK Chair attended the grand opening and said:

“I was thrilled to be asked to be a part of this event. It’s great to see Elekta make a big commitment to global health.”

In their commitment to ensuring that patients have access to the best possible cancer care, Elekta purposefully selected the new location in Hagastaden, renowned for its focus on life-science research and entrepreneurship.

Therese Lindé, GCR Co-Founder & Strategic Advisor, and Elekta VP & Head of Global Policy & Patient Access shared:

“Our inauguration program began with a scientific symposium on 'Radiotherapy in the Era of Precision Cancer Medicine' and I was proud to moderate the session with distinguished specialists: Prof. Pat Price, Dr. Alison Tree, and Prof. Eric Deutsch. It was wonderful to hear from these authentic advocates who see the disparities in global radiotherapy access and are actively doing something about it.”
